|Congratulations to Chris Littlejohn for winning 1st place at the 2021 CAES Research Symposium for his presentation “Evaluation of Growth Factors on Their Ability to Promote Proliferation and Reduce Apoptosis in Neural Stem Cells.” This was an exciting project evaluating a number of experimental growth factors to enhance the proliferation of neural stem cells. Rapid expansion of neural stem cells for the treatment of neural injury and disease patients is critical to produce enough cells in a timely manner to make them a clinically viable option. What an amazing accomplishment and we look forward to see what you do next!|
Congratulations to Dr. Kelly Scheulin for successfully defending her dissertation and earning her PhD!
