Wahenoor is a third-year undergraduate majoring in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at the University of Georgia. After finishing his undergraduate studies, Wahenoor aspires to attend medical school. Passionate about the capabilities of regenerative medicine, Wahenoor has taken part in research assessing combined nanoparticle and neural stem cell therapies in a pig model of stroke. Outside of the West Laboratory, Wahenoor serves as a resident assistant, volunteer at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center, and is active in the Student Health Advisory Committee and Sikh Student Association. He reads books and watches movies avidly, enjoys stargazing and dancing, is an ardent lover of nature and cars, stays up-to-date with the most recent technological advances in medicine and global current affairs, and works out religiously when not spending time with his family. He constantly aims to achieve his personal best and push himself well past his comfort zone.
